‘An Idyllic retreat. Rose Cottage is set in a lovely unspoilt valley. Sitting in the conservatory watching the river at the bottom of the garden and the abundance of wildlife around is a wonderful change for those that live in busy towns and cities. ‘Lovely cottage in amazing setting. We spent a lovely week at Rose cottage. The cottage is very comfortable and has all the home comforts you could ask for, such as a fire in the lounge and a wonderful summer room that has a great view where you can watch the cows, sheep and birds in the surrounding country side. The cottage has been thoughtfully kitted out and we had everything we needed such as dishwasher, DVD player etc. The garden is a lovely space to relax in and there is even a stream at the bottom! Marje and John the owners are very friendly and helpful and made our stay perfect, advising us on all the great places to visit in the area. We travelled up from London in a few hours and found it to be the perfect break we needed from the city. We are planning on returning this summer for more fun days seeing some of the local attractions we didn't have time for last trip and spending time relaxing in this beautiful peaceful cottage’ London visitors
